Papertrail
Papertrail is a traveling site-responsive installation featuring over 500 zines and art books that explores print as a mediator of community and connection. Zines are suspended from the ceiling, inviting viewers to open, read, and engage. Each iteration considers the architecture of its host space and at every stop, Papertrail issues an open call for local zines, incorporating them into the installation and contributing to the growing Papertrail Zine Library—a collection that, upon the project’s retirement, will be archived and available as a digital and physical public resource.

Zine & Art Book Library
Papertrail is a traveling site-responsive installation featuring over 500 zines and art books.
Each iteration considers the architecture of its host space and, at every stop, issues an open call for local zines.
Upon the project’s retirement, our goal is for the library to become a free and public community resource.
